More than a thousand people showed up at the Obama headquarters on North Monroe Street bright and early this morning to get their tickets. By 9:00 the line was all the way around the corner. Thousands of local residents got a free ticket to see the First Lady of the United States.
Elliot Hogan, an Obama supporter: "This election is a very, very important election. This is the time that we really have to voice our choice in the political arena. I'm a strong supporter of President Obama and that's why I'm standing in line."
A long line it was...
People picking up tickets at the Obama Headquarters on North Monroe Street in Tallahassee were in single file down the block and around the corner.
Reporter: "You didn't mind waiting in this long line?"
Joseph Morgan, an Obama rally ticket holder: Not at all. It's worth it. What better moment could I have spent out here getting tickets for my wife and I to see Michelle."
