Midway, FL - Tuesday, city officials in Midway met for the first time since the arrest of City Manager Auburn Ford.
At an emergency meeting, the city council discussed the problems looming over the area.
Mayor Jarrod Holton said he would not comment on the matter with the city manager and that other council members should follow his lead.
Also, he announced Angelia Goldwire, a city employee, will serve as interim city manager.
The council also addressed major problems with the city budget, which could result in city employees not getting a paycheck in coming weeks.
