The Midway Police Department will be hosting its 1st Annual Project CARE (Concerns and Resources for the Elderly) event. This event is aimed at bridging the gap between law enforcement and the senior citizens of the community.
This will be a unique event that will collaborate law enforcement agencies, local advocacy groups and faith-based organizations. The objective of this event is to empower senior citizens by making critical information available through educational literature and community seminars.
This event will be held today, Tuesday, July 16, 2013 from 5PM-8PM at the Midway Fire Station (50 MLK Blvd., Midway, FL 32343). This event is free to the public, and all senior citizens are encouraged to attend.
