The Leon County Sheriff's Office has now relased the mug shot of a woman accused of stealing more than $10,000 in rent money.
LaTangee Hart claimed an exemption that allows certain law enforcement officers and first responders to shield their mug shots from public view. Court records show she told arresting deputies she was a counselor at Jefferson CI.
A spokeswoman for the Florida Department of Corrections says Hart is not employed by DOC and as a counselor is not entitled to the exemption.

A Tallahassee woman is accused of stealing more than $10,000 in rent money.
45 year old Latangee Hart was arrested this week for grand theft.
Hart managed the Maryland Oaks Mobile Home Park.
Deputies say Hart pocketed cash and money orders that residents there gave her to pay their rent.
Deputies believe she stole $11,440 dollars over nine months.
The mobile home park is run by a non profit group called "Good News Outreach."
Hart was fired in August and arrest papers say she needed the money because she was facing her own financial hardships.
The scheme started to come unraveled when a supervisor confronted one of the residents about past due rent payments, only to discover he gave the money to Hart. Nine other residents were in the same boat.
We cannot show you Hart's mug shot. Court records say it is exempt from release because she works as a counselor at Jefferson CI.
