Moody AFB To Experience Major Cuts Due To Sequester

Lowndes Co., GA - Now that the Sequester is going into effect there will be deep across the board budget cuts and that's bad news for Moody Air Force Base.

Lt. Kirchhoff with Public Affairs tells Eyewitness News the Sequester means "major" cuts are coming to Moody. They will start with the Department of Defense and work their way down. But right now it's not clear what they will be. That picture won't come into focus until days or weeks after the Sequester takes effect.
