Tallahassee FL- Beats were blasting at Cascades Park Amphitheater in Tallahassee tonight during an audio test.
Following the construction of the amphitheater many residents near the site worried the entertainment would be too loud. Blueprint 2000, decided to conduct a few live tests so see just how loud is too loud.
Director of Department of PLACE, Wayne Tedder explained, "What we are doing tonight is adjusting based on all the analysis we did with our first test to see if there are things we could in fact do to reduce the sounds that are going into the neighborhood."
The organizers set up sound monitors in the Myers Park and Woodland Drives neighborhoods to capture the sound levels. They also asked anyone living in the neighborhoods to take note of the sound. All the results will contribute to their study and efforts to improve the park.
