At approximately 6:20 a.m., Taylor Evans, 22, of Annadale, Va, was traveling westbound on Interstate 10 (SR8) in the inside lane in a Dodge Durango with a passenger.

The Durango traveled northwest onto the paved apron, to the right and over corrected. It then traveled northwest on Interstate 10 (SR8) across the inside lane, outside lane and the paved shoulder.

The Durango continued traveling in a northwesterly direction onto the north grass shoulder until its front collided with a standing tree.

The Durango traveled through the tree, overturned and rotated ¼ turn in a clockwise direction.

The Durango came to final rest on the north grass shoulder on its left side facing north, where it caught on fire.

Both the driver and the passenger were taken to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in serious condition.
