UPDATE 5:31 p.m.

Dee Phillips of Dee's Towing cleans up one of many accidents in Tallahassee Friday morning.

/These two vehicles were involved in a head-on collision on Tharpe Street.

"I just pretty much try to handle it you know, one call at a time," said Phillips.

The weather means more work for the man who's run his own towing company in town for nine years.

"People getting stuck, people running in the ditch slidin' off the road and of course fender benders from the police and sheriff's department here in the town."

Phillips says he usually gets more calls after the storms have gone through because of the slick roadways that are left behind and drivers being more aggressive.

"A lot of people tend not to slow down after the rain and they put themselves in a more dangerous situation by riding faster and not taking cautions of the rain."
