Florida State University makes the list as one of the best.
Instead of focusing on reputation and prestige, these rankings look at who graduated and how they're doing now.
The Alumni Factor released its report Monday. The new college ranking platform is the first to use objective alumni data in rating schools based on how successful their graduates are in their careers and lives.
FSU is listed at 141 out of 177 colleges.
FSU Student Giancarlo Pizzino says, "It makes sense. I think that a lot of the graduates from FSU have been successful. I personally know a lot of people that have graduated from FSU and have gone on to medical school; or I know a lot of musicians that have gone here since FSU is like the number one music school in the country."
Washington and Lee University takes the number one spot.
Georgia Institute of Technology is 25, the University of Florida ranks 81 and the University of Georgia is 128.
