Tallahassee, FL - It's over the hill for a local grocery story in town.
New Leaf Co-op is celebrating 40 years of serving Tallahassee residents. They've changed their location twice and their location three times, but they continued to offer healthy food options. "They have really good food my son actually has ASD so he has to eat certain food with no gluten and no soy so they have the perfect foods to choose from for us," said Teauna Simms, Shops at New-Leaf.
They kicked off their celebration by hosting a carnival along the side of their building on Saturday. The organization said they will continue the celebration by offering 40% off of one item for the next forty weeks.
