Tallahassee, FL - Tallahassee resident Patrice Edwards says, "I don't think President Obama is the worst president."
However, most people in a recent survey do.
A new Quinnipiac University Poll says 33 percent of American voters say President Barack Obama is the worst president since World War II.
Edwards says, "President Obama has been fine with me. The health care plan seems great. My parents have benefited from it. I don't see anything wrong with that."
Twenty-eight percent of those polled say President George W. Bush is the worst.
Tallahassee resident Sharon Woodbery says, "Bush put our country in a lot of danger. I think Obama is a very good president. I think he's done a lot of good for this country and I think he's one of the best presidents we've had in a very long time."
A separate survey says some believe many people do not like President Barack Obama because of race. Others say their disdain is based on the content of his policies."
"He doesn't belong in the position he's in." Says, Tallahassee resident George Englmark.
Englemark says he disagrees with I.R.S., budget, and overseas issues. He says, "Benghazi was a, to me, a disgrace to have United States of America's government and military not being prepared to take care of people. I don't believe anything that the White House has said in reference to it."
Ronald Reagan topped the poll as the best post-war president (35%), followed by presidents Bill Clinton (18%) and John F. Kennedy (15%).
The survey says President Obama received 8% in the best presidents poll.
The poll also says that 45% of people think the nation would be better off had Mitt Romney won over President Obama in the 2012 election. Thirty-eight percent say it would be worse off as Romney as head of state.
