Tallahassee, FL— Superintendent Jackie Pons is pleased to announce that the following individuals will become principals for the 2013-14 school year.
“These individuals bring a great deal of experience and expertise to our schools, and will do a great job,” said Superintendent Pons.
Adult & Community Education—Regina Browning is being named principal at Adult and Community Education. Regina will be the principal in transition with Barbara Van Camp until her retirement in December. Regina was the principal at Bond Elementary School.
Bond Elementary School—Brandi Tyler Macintosh is being named principal at Bond Elementary School. Brandi will replace Regina Browning who will be principal at Adult and Community Education. Brandi was the assistant principal at Kate Sullivan Elementary School.
Raa Middle School—Giselle Marsh is being named principal at Raa Middle School. Giselle will replace Donna Callaway who is retiring. Giselle was the assistant principal at Cobb Middle School and taught high school for several years.
Ruediger Elementary School—Sally Stephens is being named principal at Ruediger Elementary School. Sally will replace Melissa Fullmore who will be participating in an educational leadership development program at Harvard University. Sally has served as a principal in other school districts and was the Assistant Principal at Sabal Palm Elementary School.
Sabal Palm Elementary School—Ray King is being named principal at Sabal Palm Elementary School. Ray will replace Ann Thomas Johnson who will become the K-12 science developer in the Division of Teaching and Learning. Ray is a veteran principal, former Director of Exceptional Student Education, and most recently served as the school district’s Director of Reading and Early Intervention.
