On this back to school shopping tax-free weekend shoppers will be enjoying some new additions to a mall in Tallahassee. This year alone, five new stores and restaurants will have opened at Governor's Square Mall, bringing a better shopping experience and jobs.
The Marketing Director at Governor's Square Mall says in the past two years nine stores and restaurants have opened. We most recently told you about the PS Aeropostale which opened around the start of summer. The mall has also welcomed in a Sephora and Pandora, as well as a Charlies Subs over at the food court.
In just a few weeks the family-style Italian restaurant Bucca di Beppo will be opening up. Sources say just that restaurant alone will hire around one-hundred people.
Says Richard Bevins, Marketing Manager: "In an economy where people are being fired from whatever agency, we're hiring."
