Release: Search is on for Tallahassee’s Top 20 Young Professionals

Tallahassee, Fla. – The Tallahassee Network of Young Professionals (NYP) has begun preparations for the second annual Golden A.C.E awards to recognize the top 20 young professionals under 40 in an effort to highlight the community’s emerging local leaders. In addition to excelling in one of the 20 industry sectors the awards recognize, a Golden A.C.E recipient will also be an individual that exemplifies authentic community engagement, or A.C.E.

“Our organization’s mission is to help make Tallahassee a city where young professionals choose to live, work, play – and most importantly – STAY,” said Bailey Vochatzer, President of the Tallahassee NYP. “It is our hope that the Golden A.C.E. Awards will recognize a new era of leaders and encourage them to continue their dedication to Tallahassee. We’re showing them the love and support they deserve. While they might not be today’s CEOs or Executive Directors, they are certainly on the way and we hope this recognition will keep them engaged in our community.”

Applications are available at and the application deadline is March 8, 2013. Young professionals can nominate themselves or be nominated by another individual for recognition in any of the following 20 industry sectors and categories:

Arts & Culture

Three nominees will be selected from each individual category by a nominating board to be recognized at the awards ceremony on March 23, 2013 at Hotel Duval.
