Tallahassee, FL - Although the start of FSU's football season is still a few months away, Tallahassee hotels and Leon County are already preparing.

The county expects a larger tourism boost than usual, due to the large number of tickets sold to this point.

"We've had a huge influx this year with new season ticket sales," said Jack Chatham, Director of Ticket Operations at FSU. "Also from people that want to upgrade and more tickets from what they had last year."

Naturally, a national championship team is bound to attract a lot of interest, but FSU also has a strong home schedule which includes Florida, Norte Dame, and Clemson.

While hotels in Tallahassee also expect a huge influx of people for home game weekends, they won't tell us whether they'll be raising rates for those weekends.
