Valdosta, GA - 'Our Daily Bread' out of South Georgia has started handing out meals to kids in need in their neighborhoods. The program will run through the summer break. Five sites are set up in Valdosta. All kids are welcome and there is no registration and no fees.
"You don't have to live at these apartment complexes to be able to get one of these free lunches. You can come from the surrounding areas that's close by the neighborhood where we are set up at the apartment complexes", says Angela Davis, Monitor for Our Daily Bread.
Children in Valdosta will be fed lunch each day at Azalea Woods, Brittany Woods, Woodstone, Hyde Park and Deliverance.
Azalea Woods: 11:30-1 and 1:15- 2:30
Brittany Woods: 9 -10:30 and 11-1
Woodstone: 11-12:30 and 12:45-2:00
Hyde Park: 12:00-1:30 and 1:45-3:00
Deliverance: 11:30-12:30 and 12:45-1:30
