Tallahassee, FL - A vehicle crash on Highway 98 in Panacea leaves one critically injured.

A Toyota 4Runner was traveling east bound on Coastal Highway 98 when the driver of the vehicle swerved and over corrected running off into the ditch on the left hand side of the road.

There were four passengers inside, all were minors.

"The driver then over corrected to the left and lost control of the vehicle causing it to overturn several times . As it overturned it ejected the right rear passenger and that individual sustained critical injuries," said Sergeant Aaron Stephens, Florida Highway Patrol.

There is no word yet on how that individual is doing. The driver is 17-years-old and FHP said there was an indication alcohol use and charges could be made.

We will update you with more information as it becomes available.
