A once popular Tallahassee bar is now all but leveled.
Crews are tearing down the old Paradise Grill and Bar on the corner of Thomasville Road and Seventh Avenue.
The bar, best known for its live music on the deck, closed in December 2010 after nearly 20 years in business.
Rudy Rowe now owns the land. Rowe tells us he and the Wells Brothers are teaming up to build a new sports bar on the same spot.
Rowe says it will be called the "Midtown Caboose." It will be about 5,000 square feet with a big deck of its own.
Rowe says it should be completed by September.
