Gadsden, Florida - July 1, 2012
A car crash in Gadsden County leaves one Bainbridge resident dead.
According to FHP, 30-year-old Brandy Soper, died after being thrown from a 1974 Harley Saturday night.
The report shows 56-year-old Greggory Soper was driving north on State Road 63/US 27. Brandy Soper was his passenger.
FHP says that 42-year-old James Trucks, in another vehicle, was also traveling north on SR 63 in the outside lane.
Soper traveled off the road and struck a concrete barrier wall with its left side. Soper then traveled back into the inside northbound lane and his vehicle overturned.
Troopers say Soper and his passenger were both thrown from the Harley.
Soper rolled into the path of Trucks' vehicle and hit it on the side. He came to a final rest in the outside lane. Trucks brought his vehicle came to a controlled stop. He suffered no injuries.
Soper was brought to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. He's listed in serious condition. A toxicology report is pending.
Brandy Soper died on the scene.
