Pavement Survey on I-10 and Stormwater Repairs on U.S. 90

Chipley - Drivers will encounter lane closures on Interstate 10 (I-10) between mile markers 217 and 218 in Jefferson County, Wednesday, July 30 and Thursday, July 31. A Florida Department of Transportation pavement survey crew will perform pavement tests on the Lloyd Creek bridges over I-10 beginning with the eastbound bridge on Wednesday, July 30. Test will be performed on the westbound bridge Thursday, July 31. Lane closures will remain in effect from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. EDT.

All construction activities are weather dependent and may be delayed or re-scheduled in the event of inclement weather. Motorists are reminded to pay attention and use caution when driving through the work zone.


Chipley– Repairs to a storm water drainage ditch on U.S. 90 located in the vicinity of the Hardee’s restaurant, at the east end of the Apalachicola River Bridge in Chattahoochee begins Monday, July 28. Drivers are reminded to use caution while traveling through the construction zone. Work is anticipated to be complete fall 2014.
