Police Looking for Driver in Hit & Run That Sent Pedestrian to Hospital [SLIDE SHOW]

The Tallahassee Police Department is looking for the driver of a hit and run accident that sent a man to the hospital.

It all happened around 5:20 this afternoon. Police say someone hit a pedestrian on the corner of Brevard Street and Old Bainbridge Road, and then took off.

The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, and is expected to be alright.

Police did not release a description of the vehicle, but are asking you to give them a call if you have any information.

According to the Tallahassee Police Department

The Tallahassee Police Department is currently working a traffic crash involving a pedestrian.

The crash occurred near the intersection of Old Bainbridge Road and Brevard Street at approximately 5:20pm this evening. The pedestrian sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

The vehicle which struck the pedestrian did not remain on-scene and TPD is asking anyone with information about this crash to please contact TPD at (850) 891-4200.

Emergency crews are on the scene of a car accident off of W. Brevard Street and Old Bainbridge Road, where they have just placed a pedestrian into an ambulance on a stretcher.
