Tallahassee, FL - The big Florida State versus Florida football game is now just hours away.
This rivalry is huge and so are the crowds that will be on hand.
Says Dave Northway of the Tallahassee Police Department: "We want people to be safe and come and enjoy a good time at the football game."
With the big crowds in and around the stadium, that could be easier said then done.
The Tallahassee Police Department will be helping to keep things safe on the streets and around the stadium.
Dave Northway says "TPD is employing different officers out on the streets to take care of traffic problems and traffic crashes"
Fans do get a little crazy when these two teams go head to head...the state's bragging rights are on the line.
Florida State Fan Shea Brockwell says "absolutely crazy, best game of the season regardless of where we are ranked"
Florida Fan John Bailey says "first time here and I'm really pumped I drove all the way down from Atlanta to see this wonderful game, go Gators we're going to bring it"
And because this is the biggest game of the year tickets are always hard to come by and that can cause some problems.
Says Dave Northway: "I would just say that buyer beware, if you are trying to buy tickets around the stadium make sure that they are going to be real tickets"
If you can't get tickets to the game, you can watch all the action on TV. Kickoff is at 3:30pm on Saturday.
