Police Search For Suspect In Valdosta Gift Shop Robbery

On December 24, 2013 at approximately 10:15 am, the Valdosta Police Department responded to the South Georgia Pecan Gift Shop, 401 E. Hill Avenue in reference to the report of a robbery.

Officers arrived and were told that an African American male, approximately 6’4”, 220-240 pounds, wearing a dark colored sweater, had grabbed an unknown amount of money from the cash register, ran out, and left on a bicycle in an unknown direction of travel.

Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the offender. No one was injured during the incident. Detectives and Crime Scene Personnel responded to investigate.
