U.S. Marshals made it clear by yelling that a mobile home on Cutchin Court in Crawfordville was completely surrounded.
Linette Herrin's daughter lives there. Herrin says, "I was very scared. When she called me from school and said, mom, somebody's broke into my house and barricaded themselves in there. I said oh, my Lord."

Cassandra Maynor lives nearby and says she was outside with her one-year-old daughter when law enforcement agents rushed into the yard at about 10:30 Wednesday morning.
Maynor says, "They told us to get inside. Then probably about 30, 35 minutes later, they called my cell phone, I guess dispatch did, and told us we had to leave the house."
Authorities yelled for Hilliard to come out of the house; even saying that going in after him wasn't a matter of IF, but, when.
After more than an hour of waiting and demanding, officers did go in. But, Hilliard was not there.
Authorities say he must've gotten away before they completely secured the area. However, authorities say they know he was there because they say his van and his dog were still there.

Anyone with information of Hilliard's whereabouts is asked to call the Wakulla County Sheriff's Office at 850-745-7100.
