The scene is not far from the Wal-Mart on North Monroe Street.

The Leon County Sheriff's Office isn't saying much, but they have confirmed they are investigating a house that they also confirmed contains a deceased person.

They are not releasing names yet, but did stress that they have not ruled this a homicide or suicide.

They have not released the cause of death.

A neighbor said around 2:30 a.m., he and his wife heard some combination of a "loud noise, dogs barking, and a scream."

LCSO cannot confirm whether that's related to their investigation.
