Primary Election Day in Gadsden County

Quincy, FL - The Gadsden County Supervisor of Elections says voter turnout has been low Tuesday.

There are four local offices that need to be filled in Gadsden County: county commission, district 2; and Gadsden County School board, districts 2, 3, and 4.

Officials say they're hoping for a 30 percent turnout.

Gadsden County resident Robert West says, "I think it's important for people to get involved for the kind of experiences that you want done. So, you can't get anything done unless you come out and do something about it. The vote is the power."

The Gadsden County Supervisor of Elections says turnout for the last Gubernatorial election in 2010 was 35 percent.
