Live Oak, FL--Rain or shine the Suwannee River Jam was in full swing.
"Our area was absolutely packed," said Tina Peavey, the marketing director of the Suwannee River Jam. "There was a lot of energy in front of that stage and it did not matter that it was raining."
Folks brought out their rain boots or embraced the rain in anticipation for the historic event that has united country stars for the past 22 years.
"Eli Young band and Florida Georgia Line," said a participate at the event.
Just a few of the big names coming to jam out on our local stage. People came from everywhere and slept anywhere! Folks say, the rain just adds to the excitement.
"It charges our mind, body, soul connections and it helps us with all of our connections together and the connection with the music," said Shonya Spier, a festival vendor.
