Tallahassee, FL - Red Hills International will have a new look come this spring. The cross country course has been moved from the Phipps property to the park side of Elinor Klapp-Phipps Park. One of the main concerns course organizers, designers and builders took into account for the new course is footing for the horses. The new jumps are still under construction, but you may recognize that some of them resemble unique areas in Florida. "The main water complex is designed after 17Th green at TPC Sawgrass. The island actually goes out into the water that the horses will jump up on and over," said Marvin Mayer, Co-Organizer of Red Hills.
The new course was designed by Hugh Lochore and built by Tyson Rementer & Levi Ryckewaert. Red Hills International is set for March 6TH - 9TH.
