Jackson Bluff Shooting Sends One To Hospital [SLIDE SHOW]

Tallahassee, FL - Shots rang out in Tallahassee on Thursday afternoon right across from SAIL High School. A little after 1pm, The Tallahassee Police Department responded to a home at 2011 Jackson Bluff Road.

Officers found two people, a shooting victim and another man who is considered a suspect. The victim was treated at a hospital for non-life threatening injuries. One neighbor heard the shot and ran out to see what happened.

Neighbor, Eddie Moody: "It make you feel real bad, you know? A killing, a shooting, you know that close to ya... Cause you don't never know. I might have been standing in that road and got shot, I mean standing in the yard and got shot."

Officials haven't released the identity of the victim or the possible suspect. SAIL high school was on lock down for a portion of the afternoon.

A little after 1 p.m, TPD responded to 2011 Jackson Bluff Road in
reference to a shooting incident.

Once officers arrived, they located two people. One was the victim the other considered a suspect. That person is in custody.

The victim was taken to a hospital and he is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Charges are pending in the case as it remains ongoing.

UPDATE, May 30, 2013, 1:41 p.m.

The lockdown at SAIL High School has been lifted following a possible shooting incident in the area.
