Tallahassee, FL - Every year the Salvation Army holds the Red Kettle Campaign. They impact more than four and a half million people in the United States during the holidays. Locally the Salvation Army branch is hoping to raise $150,000 this year. The money raised during the Red Kettle campaign goes toward year-round programs, to date they've raised $95,000."Also those people who come to our social services and food pantry. All the assistance that we provide through out the year is comes from the Red Kettle campaign and we are so grateful that Tallahassee again is responding very well," said Captain Julio DaSilva, Salvation Army.
Also the Salvation Army is doing their Angel Tree campaign. People can buy a girl or boy angel from locations on Market Street and the Governor's Square Mall.
