Sometimes Santa and his elves wear green polyester.
Today the Leon county Sheriff and some of his deputies delivered toys to sick children at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
The children got teddy bears and quilts that were hand made by inmates at the jail.
It's all in hopes of brightening the holidays for children stuck in the hospital.
"It's very humbling to receive gifts like that," said Michael Gallagher whose two year old son Cullen has been hospitalized all week. "This definitely brought his spirits up some too. When he was presented with this bear from the sheriff, it was great and I almost ... I got a little misty."
Victim advocates arrange the gift giving every year.
Our best wishes to Cullen, Jason , Lizzie and all the children on the second floor. We hope you get better soon!
