School Bus Involved in Afternoon Three Car Accident

The accident occurred at 2:12 p.m. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the school bus was stopped at the intersection of Thomasville Road and Kerry Forest Parkway, when a red pickup truck ran into the bus while attempting to change lanes. The pickup was then forced in to another vehicle. In total the accident involved three vehicles including the school bus.

No injuries were reported and all of the students on the school bus were transferred to another bus.

FHP is still investigating the accident and charges are pending.

A three vehicle accident slowed traffic in Northeast Tallahassee Monday afternoon.

Leon County school bus number 1008 and two other vehicles were involved in the crash.

It happened on the southbound side of Thomasville Road near Kerry Forest Parkway.

The road is still open.

No major injuries have been reported.
