Tallahassee, FL-Dozens of people came out to Tallahassee's Railroad Square Saturday to experience and learn about science.

It was for the first 'Science Saturday'.

Organizers say 'Science Saturday' exposes children and adults to the world of science.

About 20 vendors setup displays with various experiments and activities to try.

There was everything from microscopes, to electric cars to even mastodon bones for some hands-on fun.

"Here's an opportunity to actually see how maybe people deal with maybe liquid nitrogen," said Bill Grace, Railroad Square events director.

Grace says he hopes to make 'Science Saturday' an annual event.
