Tallahassee, Florida - April 11, 2012 -

Gov. Rick Scott weighed in on the Republican presidential primary on Tuesday, but continued to decline to fully endorse a candidate while still calling on Republicans to support one: Mitt Romney. When GOP candidate Rick Santorum suspended his campaign, Scott stated what most observers with the exception of Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul followers- say is the obvious: that Romney has the thing locked up. "Mitt Romney will be our party's nominee and it is critical that all Republicans coalesce behind Governor Romney and focus on electing him as President so he can put the policies in place to create jobs, turn our economy around and get federal spending under control."
