Many areas across the Big Bend and south Georgia saw another round of severe weather Sunday morning as a line of thunderstorms moved through the area.
There were multiple reports of trees down and power outages. These occurred due to strong winds of 60+ mph in some of the stronger thunderstorms. Many areas from Tallahassee to Valdosta were under a severe thunderstorm warning at some point during the morning hours.
The rest of the afternoon will feature clearing conditions, with high temperatures in the lower 80s. A cold front will move through the area later tonight bringing cooler weather to start the week.
A cold front is expected to move across the WCTV viewing area Sunday morning bringing with it the potential for some severe weather.
The main threat will be from frequent lightning strikes, damaging winds and large hail. An isolated tornado can not be ruled out.
