TPD Investigators are releasing the name of the victim in this case. Keyondra Byrd suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and was treated at a local hospital. She is expected to make a full recovery.
Investigators from TPD’s Criminal Investigation Division Homicide Unit are currently following all leads and interviewing witnesses. Community members with information about this case are asked to call TPD at 891-4200 or the Big Bend Crime Stoppers at 574-TIPS. Crime Stoppers does not want your name, just your information and you may be eligible for a cash reward.

The Tallahassee Police Department is investigating a shooting incident. Last night at approximately 3:00AM, TPD officers were called to the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital for a gunshot victim. The female victim reported the incident occurred in the area off Tennessee Street and Ocala Road. She suffered a non-life threatening injury and is currently undergoing treatment.
