A Tallahassee woman is accused of attempted murder in the wake of a home invasion robbery. Police are still looking for her accomplice.
Tiffany Dixon was arrested and charged with armed robbery and attempted murder for a shooting at the Seminole Grand apartments last weekend.
Police reports released today show there was a gun battle inside apartment 1631.
Arrest papers say 23 year old Tiffany Dixon went there looking for a man named Mark to buy some marijuana. Arrest papers say the man inside told her he didn't have any, but he might know someone who did. Arrest papers say when the woman opened the door to leave, a man with a gun burst in and started firing.
The victim was shot in the leg and returned fire. Both men survived.
Tallahassee Police are still looking for Dixon's accomplice, 18 year old Rochelle Hawkins. A TPD spokesman says there is a warrant out for his arrest on robbery and attempted murder charges.
The Leon County Sheriff's Office did not release Dixon's booking photo, because a spokesman says she has a close relative in law enforcement and is exempt under Florida public records law.
