Shots Ring Out at Local Hotel

Tallahassee, Florida - November 17, 2012

On Friday, November 16, 2012 at 2:50p.m. Leon County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Microtel Inn and Suites, 3216 N. Monroe Street, in reference to the report of a person who had been shot. The victim, a 31-year-old man, told deputies he was shot in the left arm during an encounter with two unknown suspects on the third floor of the motel. The victim was taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Violent Crime and Crime Scene Detectives responded to the scene and are conducting an investigation. Video surveillance captured images of the suspects, which are
pictured below.

Tallahassee, FL - November 16, 2012 - Shots rang out at a Tallahassee motel this afternoon.

It happened around 2:30 on the third floor of the Microtel Inn Suites on North Monore Street.

Deputies say two men chased a 31 year old man down the hall and shot him in the shoulder.

He was taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.

Deputies say they're still trying to figure out what prompted the shooting.

They are looking for two suspects. Both were black men. One was wearing a white hoodie, red shorts and a red cap. The other was wearing jeans and a green windbreaker.
