One hundred seventeen million people were expected to tune in to the Super Bowl Sunday night.

Many of those people knew they were going to have too much fun to get up for work the next day.

Some say that's why the day after the Super Bowl should be a national holiday.

One survey says 22 percent of employees say the Monday after the big game is a less productive day than usual.

Eight percent say they planned on not going to work at all, saying they would use a vacation day or even come up with an excuse to use a 'sick day.'

Lazaro Martinez watched the Super Bowl. He says, "I think that would be sweet. yeah, I think that would definitely be awesome. I probably would do the same thing if I was drinking or over-drinking."

For those who do go to work, the survey says employees at least say the morale is typically better in the office the day after the Super Bowl.

First, i'd like to say, you should always drink responsibly. My question is...why isn't the SB played on Saturday? Then you have all day Sunday to recoop. The teams have two weeks off, plenty of time to get ready, minus 1 day. Children, with school the next day, aren't being allowed to watch the end of the game. I think the NFL knows, that this would be better for everyone...but we'll never see it, because the mighty $ fuels this event, and they make more having it on a Sunday night.

They unanimously passed a resolution last week to keep guns out of the classrooms and off university grounds. The faculty senate is standing in opposition to house bill 981. The bill proposed allowing citizens the right to carry concealed weapons into bars.. churches.. college campuses and even elementary schools.
