Tallahassee, FL - At the TCC Lifetime Sports Complex Sportsability held a resource expo. They offer people of all abilities ways to stay active that will enrich their quality of life. Folks got to see how they could experience enriching lifestyle activities like scuba diving and water skiing. 13-year-old water skier, Jordan Glen, who was born with Spina Fibida and is bound to a wheelchair said water skiing has made him come alive again.
"Like I said. This gives me a chance to get out there and say that look at me and this is possible," said Glen.
Glen enjoys water skiing through the organization UCanSki2. Glen along with many others will be taking part in the Sportsability free outdoor day at the Ochlockonee River State Park from 10:00AM to 3:00PM.
Other activities that will be offered are kayaking, sailing, archery, swimming, nature trail rides, scuba, pontoon boat rides and horseback riding.
Sportsability said all abilities and all ages are welcome to attend.
