Tallahassee-Thousands came out Saturday to enjoy Tallahassee's annual St. Patrick's Festival and Parade.
"(I enjoyed )The music, the chance to be outside in Spring time Tallahassee, " said Gigi Cassedy, who went to the festival.
"It's a beautiful event. People coming together down here and celebrating St. Patrick's Day early," said Tiger Williams.
But you don't have to be Irish to enjoy the fun. In its fourth year, the festival is put on by The Tallahassee Irish Society and the Tallahassee Downtown Improvement Authority. It features a parade, 5k run and much more. And organizers say it's also away for vendors the vendors there to make a little green
"Our events downtown bring people who may not come here on an every day basis," said Jay Revell with the Tallahassee Downtown Improvement Authority.
He estimates this year's festival brought a couple thousand people downtown. And vendors setup here like Lofty Pursuits, see those people as their potential pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
"Just being here is great publicity, but then with all the lines we've been having today, it's definitely got the word out," said Kristen Porter with Lofty Pursuits.
Porter estimates she saw nearly 200 customers during the festival.
