Folks in St. Mark's are getting ready for the 13th annual St. Mark's Stone Crab Festival this weekend.
The festival will take place on Saturday from 10:00AM - 6:00 PM. Last year over 10,000 people filled the streets of St Marks to enjoy live bands, good seafood, and the hot weather. The festival is something that the people of St. Mark's look forward to every year.
Festival committee chairman Mike Pruitt says, "It's going to be a lot to see and do - it's just going to be a lot of excitement in the best time of year."
St. Mark's restaurant owner Stanley West says, "We're looking for hopefully a good year this year and lots of people to show up."
St. Marks is home to stone crabs and a lot of other seafood straight from the gulf.
