During this morning's severe storm, power outages were reported in Leon and Gadsden counties.

The City of Tallahassee reported 1853 customers near Thomasville Road, and more than 1500 customers around Live Oak Plantation and North Florida Christian were all left without power. Most of the power has been restored with about 240 customers still without power. They expect all power to be restored by 1pm.

Talquin Electrics also reported approximately 2,000 customers had lost power in the storm. Many of the outages are due to fallen trees and limbs. It is unknown at this time when power is expected to be restored, however crews are currently in the field.

The Leon County Sheriff's Office temporarily experienced disabled phone lines. They are now up and running.
