Havana, FL - The Havana City Council passed an ordinance to allow the Sunday sale of beer and alcohol.
Store owners say they expect the new law to generate more money for their businesses and community.
Some residents say they're glad to no longer have to drive outside of the city limits. Others disagree with any sale of alcohol on Sundays.
Fred Maynor says, "I'm not a drinker. But, those that want to do it, that's up to them. But, on Sundays, I think they need to be in church."
The ordinance allows beer and alcohol to be sold from 1 to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
