Quincy, FL-The Gadsden County Sheriff's Office is asking for your help in solving a murder.

Deputies say Curtis Anderson was found dead inside of his Triple Oaks Apartment last November.

The Sheriff's Office says Anderson was murdered.

Now investigators are reaching out to the public for help as they say the trail has gone cold despite collecting evidence having potential suspects back in November.

"That didn't pan out, what we collected on scene. The suspects we had were not connected in any way. We have a large friend base that this guy had and we really need the public to give us any information that they can," said Investigator Ulysses Jenkins with the Gadsden County Sheriff's Office.

Gadsden County, FL - The Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement are seeking information regarding the homicide of Curtis Eugene Anderson. The body of 49 year old Curtis Eugene Anderson was discovered in his residence on November 2nd, 2012 at approximately 12:20 pm by Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office. Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact the Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office at 850-875-8825 or CrimeStoppers at 850-574-TIPS.

Sheriff Morris Young states, “The assistance of our community is vital in solving this horrible crime. We are asking that if you have any information to contact us and help us keep our community safe.”


Quincy, FL- November 16, 2012

The Gadsden County Sheriff's Office says it's narrowing in on a murder suspect.

GCSO says it has three possible suspects in the death of Curtis Anderson. Anderson was found dead inside his Triple Oaks Apartment November 2.

None of the suspects are being identified.

GCSO is waiting on the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to finish its analysis of the evidence.

GCSO expects those results back any day now.


Quincy, FL - November 3, 2012

A 49-year-old Quincy man's death has been ruled a homicide.

The Gadsden County Sheriff's Office says the body Curtis Anderson was found Friday around 12:20 p.m. inside his Triple Oaks Apartment.

The Sheriff's Office won't say how Anderson died or provide a motive for the crime. Family member tell WCTV they believe it was a robbery gone wrong.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement and Quincy Police Department are assisting in the investigation.

Quincy, FL - "I just don't how to deal with my brother like this, I just don't know," said Jennie Kenon with tears in her eyes. She says it was her brother, 49-year-old Curtis Anderson, who was found dead inside of his apartment at Triple Oaks in Quincy.

She says the husband and father of four is the old is the oldest brother of 12 siblings.

"He was a good angel, to me," said Jennie Kenon.

The family says they got the call that something happened, just after one Friday afternoon.

"I was at work, getting ready to get on my bus to go pick the kids up and I got call saying they think my brother is dead," said Stephanie Flucker, Anderson's sister. She said when she showed up she saw law enforcement and crime scene tape everywhere. The family says they haven't been told too much so far.

But Flucker tells WCTV, " Somebody robbed him that's all we can say, they robbed him and killed that's all we know." But Anderson's sister-in-law, Kimberly Kenon said, "We're trusting the sheriff's department to do their job so we can get a complete story of what occurred here today."

Officially the sheriff's department has not released the victim's name or any information. They will only say that the death is suspicious and that they're looking for answers.

Quincy, FL - Sheriff Morris Young with the Gadsden County Sheriff's Office has confirmed that a suspicious death occurred at Triple Oaks Apartments in Quincy, FL.

One man is dead, and foul play is suspected.

The person died last night or early this morning.
