Brothers Killed, One Arrest Made in Suwannee County Shooting

The person arrested in the shooting is Marcus Nathaniel Cole, of 12803 225th. Rd. Dowling Park, Florida.

The two people shot were brothers, Michael Williams 05-05-66 of Live Oak died on scene and Abram Williams, 05-21-71 of Live Oak died later, ( 01-27-13), at Shands UF in Gainesville, Fl.

During an altercation before the shootings at the same location, a person was cut in the back of the neck. Joshua White, 4-10-81, of Live Oak was treated and released at Shands UF.


Suwannee County, FL - The Suwannee County Sheriff's Office has confirmed that Abe Williams has died.

Suwannee County, FL - The medical examiner confirmed to WCTV that a shooting occurred in Charles Springs, FL late Saturday night.

The Suwannee County Sheriff's Office is reporting that 40-year-old Marcus Cole has been arrested and charged with first degree murder in the death of Mike Williams.

The Suwannee Democrat reports that Cole used a high power rifle in the murder.

Cole reportedly also shot another man, Abe Williams, who remains in the hospital with life threatening injuries.

Suwannee County Sheriff Tony Cameron declined to comment.
