The Tallahassee Women's Junior Club donated hand-sewn teddy bears to the Tallahassee Fire Department today.
It's part of the group's Blue Bear Project that they've been doing for more than a decade.
Firefighters give out the teddy bears to help comfort a child after a bad car accident or a house fire.
"It affords the firefighters an opportunity to them something homemade and heart felt to the children after losing their home or being in an accident when their scared and nervous," said Erin Calabro, Tallahassee Junior Women's Club.
The Tallahassee Junior Women's Club is meeting to make more blue bears on February 23, 2014.
