TPD Joins National Campaign Against Impaired Driving

The Tallahassee Police Department has joined a national campaign to crackdown on impaired driving resulting in fatalities.

Law enforcement agencies across the U.S. are joining the "Drive Sober or Get Pulled over Campaign."

It runs from August 16 to September 3.

TPD will push for stronger enforcement and host high profile events to add awareness against drunk driving.

Police say being arrested for DUI can result in jail time, loss of driver's licenses and steep financial consequences.
