[UPDATE] Tallahassee, FL - September 28, 2012 11:28pm

A man is behind bars tonight accused of a brutal sexual attack. That arrest happened in northeast Tallahassee neighborhood.

Thursday night, WCTV received several calls into our newsroom about heavy police presence in that neighborhood. Now we have the police report telling us what happened.

"I was coming home from work and initially it was two U.S. Marshals in vests by that house. I left to take my girls to something they were doing, then there was three more TPD swat officers, the street was blocked, it was crazy," said Kimberly Pike, who lives in the Arbor Hills neighborhood.

"We looked out the window and saw an officer in his car out here...the officer was fully loaded, he had every kind of equipment on him, he looked like SWAT team," said Frank Smith, who also lives nearby.

Tallahassee police swarmed a home at 3229 Albert Drive to arrest Raymond Reaves, who is accused of raping a woman.

Arrest papers show a woman reported being attacked on Friday, September 21. She told police her and Reaves had been acquaintances at a party. She met him somewhere along South Meridian Street. When she got into his car, she says he put a towel over her head then took her to a home. That's where she says he beat her up and forced her to have sex. She described the experience as lasting hours and hours and says he even forced her to taste cocaine.

The report goes on to show that when he was finished he dropped her off at the corner of Brighton Road and Olive Street. Police say she suffered a ruptured spleen, two broken ribs and two cracked vertebrae. They say they were able to arrest Reeves through DNA evidence.

Police say the victim told them Reaves made her wipe herself with a washcloth after the attack. She saved that washcloth. Police were then able to match the DNA to Reaves because his DNA was already in the system.

He went before a judge Friday morning but was denied bond. He is being held in the Leon County Jail.

The arrest report shows there was also another warrant out for Reaves arrest out of Dallas, Texas for possession of 50 pounds of marijuana.
