Tallahassee, Florida- July 13, 2012
The Tallahassee Police Department is asking for community assistance in identifying a suspect in a robbery which occurred at 5:46am on July 13th at the Circle K, located at 3600 Shamrock Drive. There were no reported injuries from the robbery.
The suspect entered the store armed with what appeared to be a screwdriver, threatened the clerk and left with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect was last seen running through the parking lot of the adjacent businesses.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, 160-180lbs and was wearing a light colored baseball cap, a red/white horizontal striped shirt and long jean shorts. He also was wearing brown or black work boots with white socks.
The instore video surveillance camera captured the two pictures attached to this release.
TPD investigators are attempting to identify this suspect. Community members with information or who recognize the suspect are asked to call TPD at 891-4200 or the Big Bend Crime Stoppers at 574-TIPS.
